Day 66… Tuesday 6th June
Discovered a broken jar of pasta sauce in the back of Greta. The entire contents had manged to work its way into the drawer runners. The road from the Cameroon boarder had been brutal and the entire contents of Greta had been shaken around. It was a time consuming clean-up operation and a learning curve not to buy glass jars for this trip which can easily break. Found water, a working cash machine and fuel before we set off for Bangoulap, a short 2 hour drive south. Proper roads – wonderful smooth drive. The accommodation was part of an educational and cultural foundation complex high up in the mountains (1500m above sea level). Stunning views of the green landscape and very peaceful spot. Happily explored the estate before enjoying drinks/dinner on the terrace.
