Day 101… Wednesday 12th July
A scenic drive towards Paarl today along the R44. Very little traffic and beautiful yellow flowers framed by mountains. A couple of police stops but no problems. A very sunny day and our first glimpse of Table Mountain. Our intended campsite near Paarl was very disappointing – lots of mud and flies. As we were only 40 minutes from Somerset West we made the decision to carry on after a phone call to Will (brother in law). My sister and nieces are currently in the UK and flying in tomorrow, so we are picking them up from the airport. Time to recover, relax and get Greta fixed.
