Day 157… Saturday 26th August
Took a taxi ride to the north-eastern part of Lusaka and met up with my fabulous friend Lonely and the Mulenga family. Spent the afternoon at a traditional Zambian ceremony which takes place after 10 years of marriage. The Mulenga family wore clothes or items cut from the same blue material and I wore the dress that had been made for me. There were drums, singing, dancing and food/gifts offered to the couple. A memorable experience.
