Day 154… Wednesday 23rd August
Breakfast with a view of the Zambezi river. No hippos or crocodiles to be seen but plenty of small river boats causing waves. Spent a lovely day catching up with Lonely, Andy and the boys. Visited the local market and got measured up for a traditional African dress to wear for a wedding ceremony on Saturday (Lonely’s brother). Had a delicious lunch of Nsima (maise), fish and vegetables. Spent the afternoon at a nice spot on the Zambezi river for drinks. Met up with Ron for dinner back at the Waterfront Lodge. The mosquitoes here are prolific.
