Day 152… Monday 21st August
A day of rest from the road. Plenty of friendly birds to watch and time spent reading with views across the Chobe river towards Botswana. Booked in for a sunset river cruise. A reasonably priced excursion and well worth it with the following spotted:
- Crocodiles
- Buffalo
- Giraffe
- Elephants
- Baboons
- Impala
- Africa Fish Eagle
- Water Monitor Lizard
Allen’s perspective…
I couldn’t be bothered to take lots of photos whilst on the boat, unlike the hoard of Germans on the boat all with their iPhones out pinching and zooming to take photos of Zebra’s, etc….. yawn. I just enjoyed bobbing along in the warm breeze with the beautiful scenery around, staring at some startled animals.
