Day 83… Friday 23rd June
A day of rest sitting in the shade amongst the plants and reading. The mechanic arrived to assess Geta’s gear box. Took a short drive into the city with the mechanic to get some glue.

The chap seemed to a reasonable job, bleeding the brake and clutch system, but I knew it was only a short term fix to a bigger problem. From speaking with the owner Luis, it seems that parts are expensive and labour is unreliable/untrustworthy, so at this point we decided to just carry on down to the border and get into Namibia where things should hopefully get easier.
