Day 93… Tuesday 4th July
Set off for Spitzkoppe (a range of mountain peaks) south-east of Otavai. Filled up with fuel and found a shoprite to stock up on Braai meat. The views of Spitzkoppe were stunning and we travelled along a dirt road for several kilometres getting closer to the impressive sight in the Namibian desert. Our campsite was right beside these rock formations, part of a community run campsite where pitches are remote. There was no running water available but there was a long drop wc. 2 young deer (Klipspringer) were running close to our camp. The night sky was the best I have ever seen with thousands of star to gaze up at.
