Molo to Turi

Day 193… 1st October

The rolling hills of Molo and Elburgon are very green and reminiscent of England’s green and pleasant land.  Perhaps I am missing home.  Visited Molo primary school where my mum, aunt and uncle went in the 1950’s.  Found the area in Turi where my grandparents farmed.  The road up there was a bumpy ride along an uneven surface of concrete/shingle.  It would have been dirt roads 60 years ago.  Drove up to the equator line and stopped for a photo at the sign.  The lorries slowly chug on the hills but there are ‘changing lanes’ so you can overtake but traffic speeding down the hill in your lane is problematic.
