Day 39… Wednesday 10th May
A short drive from Yamoussoukro to Abidjan around 2 and half hours today along a fast toll road with very few vehicles. The roads in Yamoussoukro are so new, there are no road markings and google maps was not recognising them. The buildings are newly constructed and the roads are clean. Some traffic heading into Abidjan but all ok. Usual idiot drivers not paying attention and changing lanes without looking. Hotel accommodation in the Ivory Coast is much more geared up to tourists and very reasonably priced.
